A good rule of thumb is 3 months in advance. This will ensure your guests have plenty of time to make arrangements. If your wedding is at a busy time of year or requires some travelling it’s good practice to send out a save the date card too, this can be sent 6-8 months in advance.
It’s entirely up to you! We know what a fantastic feeling it is when everything coordinates, so if your budget allows, take a look at the suggestions below.

Thank you card... and anything else inbetween
You should be looking to order one per household, rather than one per guest as some invitations will go out to couples and families. It’s also good to have a couple of spares and a keepsake one for yourself!
As soon as possible. Our typical turnaround time is 5-6 weeks so please allow enough time for addressing and mailing your invitations.
Absolutely. Most of the designs can be customised to suit other events, please get in touch for more details.

Yes you can and there’s no charge. We understand how important your colour scheme is so send us your details and we’ll go from there. Please note: colours on screen can differ from printed colours, if your stationery is colour critical please order a printed sample first.
Of course. The wording on a wedding invitation is very personal to you so please feel free to adjust where necessary. We can advise on wedding invitation etiquette too so please just ask.
Each piece of stationery is printed on a paper stock specifically matched to suit the design. All our stock is 300gsm plus and is either white, off white or cream. We use smooth stock and textured stocks, depending on the design If you have a request for a specialist paper stock we’d be happy to look into it for you.
After we’ve received your order we’ll send you a PDF proof of your customised design, you’ll then have the chance to make any alterations to text and colour to get it just right. We’ll make the changes and send you a second PDF proof to check over thoroughly. If there are any last changes now is the time to make them. Lastly we’ll send you a final proof for you to approve for print. Any further amendments required after the first three will be charged at £15 per proof.
After we’ve received your order we’ll send you a PDF proof of your bespoke design. As with off-the-peg designs you have the chance to make alterations, any major structural alterations or re-design will be charge at £20 per hour. Please get in touch for more details on changes to custom designs.

Yes you can. If you’d like to keep an eye on your budget you can print at home or take to a local printers or copy centre. Just place an order the same way and specify you’d like to print them yourself in the additional information field. Please get in touch for prices.
Most invitations and save the date cards are printed on both sides (double sided) and there are a few which are printed on one side only (single sided). Check the description of each card for more information. The images below expalin the type of cards we produce. Bespoke sized cards can be created via the custom service.
